My History
I started my dj career in 1988 while in college at U.S.L. I began working at a small A.M. radio station with the call letters KXKW. In 1990, I went to work at 97.3 KMDL and eventually had a mid-day show and became music director. During the same year, I also began working as a mobile dj with a local mobile dj production company and worked sound and lights for Rob Rue, a local illusionist/magician.
Throughout the next five years, I deejayed at several night clubs in Lafayette, like Maximilians in the Lafayette Hilton. I was also a dj with Silver Bullet Productions company for a while.
In 1995, I left radio and went to work on cruise ships in the Caribbean as an entertainment host and also trained the djs who came onboard. I deejayed at the original Scandals night club in 1996, at the same time working on-air part-time at 99.1 KXKC radio station. In 1997, I was called back to the cruise industry as a Port Lecturer.
I am currently a school teacher in Youngsville and own my own mobile dj business which I started in 2002. I create a family friendly atmosphere and take pride in not playing songs with explicit lyrics.
